Firearm retention is solid and strong, its comfortable, the paddle gets a good grip on the belt and pant top and it stays put, the angle adjustment teeth are clean and make for a strong lock, firearm fit is accurately molded and sized, the release is well placed and works good. Time will tell how the parts hold up but so far, its good.

Surprisingly good... 0 people found this helpfulLike many handgun enthusiasts I have a drawer full of holsters that have just never worked out for one reason or another. With some of them being quite pricey. So I was pleasantly surprised to find this inexpensive little gem of a holster and to discover how well it works. I love the way it sits on my hip, the retention/release button, it's minimalist design and light weight. It also fits my Glock perfectly. In fact, I liked it so much I bought another for my Glock 17. I haven't had it long so I can't comment on it's durability, but I see no reason why it shouldn't last a long time.

Not the best, Not the worst 2 people found this helpfulI purchased this due to breaking my right hand so I needed a left handed holster quick and didn't want to drop another 150 on safariland. This does fit the G17 however it doesn't feel too secure, I'm thinking a solid yank can defeate the lock. There is no audible click when inserting. The button is extremely sensitive the slightest press will release it and it's a very large button. Cannot take off the paddle and add QLS only one single connection point.

Great for HD, open carry, range. 0 people found this helpfulThis review is for CYTAC Level III/Level II Duty Holster for Glock 17 Gen 5 / Glock 17 22 31 Gen 1-4 - RH I wanted a basic holster for my Glock. I do not plan on carrying the Glock very often and then probably only at the range. I have other CYTAC Level III holsters and they have been bargains and function well. This holster is a more general version meant to fit various Blocks, I mean Glocks. The pistol rattles when it is inserted and retention lock clicks in. I expect that of lower cost holster and am prepared. All I did to fix the rattling was to place stick-back velcro in 3 locations (see picture), no more rattling. In fact, the Glock rattles now, holster is silent. I should have placed the velcro at the top of the holster a little further in, but it can be a PITA to not having it adhere to the wrong location. The retention paddle is very easy to disengage and draw the pistol. I saw one review where they thought the paddle would some kind of slow-down issue when drawing quickly. I cannot see that. Just place your index finger where it naturally wants to set, apply minimal pressure, retention disengages, done.

I liked it so much that I ordered this version for my Glock 22 3rd Gen .40 cal. The holster is well built, holds the weapons securely and stays in place when drawing the weapons. I recommend this holster to anyone looking for a quality owb holster without breaking the bank.

My pistols newest and bestest friend. 1 people found this helpfulPurchased for my Glock 17 (naked by the way, no sights, torches or freakin' laser beams). Fits the pistol well, draws smoothly - slightly looser than other holsters but still has a positive lock on the weapon, I can't even drop it (I'm a bit clumsy, I think it's why I failed my Atomic Weapon Establishment aptitude test). The Allen key (included and, best of all, free!!!!) allows for draw angle adjustment and once tightened is very secure, in 4 weeks of constant use I've not had to re-tighten it at all. The safety lock is simple but secure, nicely shaped for the forefinger draw and just the right amount of spring pressure, kind of underwear elastic strength - strong enough to do the job but easy access........if you know what I mean...... The plastic is firm but flexible, good quality and can absorb the various knocks and bumps of everyday life. Car doors, chairs, dead zombies - that sort of thing. The belt attachment is very secure vertically and the paddle has a thin foam covering (more evidence of quality), it does move some horizontally on my rigger belt but that suits my personal operation and carrying style (I like to slip the holster around into my back sometimes, just for variety). This was an outstanding purchase and I highly recommend any Glock 17 user to strongly consider this, the price belies the quality. My pistol loves it so much, it doesn't want to leave and when it does, it loves going back.
